Various Forms of Tourism in DPRK

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea now sponsors various forms of tourism.

    They include mountaineering, architecture, sports, labor, business, angling, sightseeing, motoring and bicycling tours.

    The DPRK became a member of the World Tourism Organization in Juche 76 (1987). It has striven to develop tourism with a view to strengthening friendship and cooperation with other countries and providing its people with highly civilized life. -0-
